Inkadia Plotting Post

Hook: Animated characters only, no forced humanization or the like.
Setting: A huge, sprawling metropolis surrounded by a thick, eldrich forest and an impenetrable wall (the Fourth Wall, naturally). In the center of the city is the inkwell, constantly full of churning black ink. Inkadia starts off as just the city and the surrounding forest, but as events happen within the game, the wall will slowly begin to expand -- and the city with it -- to reveal more parts of the world for the characters to explore.
Characters who arrive will climb out of the fountain and be greeted by what looks to be a living drawing of a person, who tells them they're in Inkadia, gives them their comm and then directs them to where the piece of their home world that they brought has turned up.
'Residents' (always capitalized) are the benign NPCs of the city -- they run all the stores and establishments and what have you that aren't player run. Each one looks exactly the same -- like a simplistic drawing of a person, with no discernible gender or features outside of the bare minimum needed to make a face.
The city is run by the Mayor -- a young woman, dressed in military lolita clothes, who seems to know everything there is to know about the city and a lot more besides. She makes vague references occasionally to a city and a mayor that existed before, and delights in trolling the shit out of all the characters in the city. Sometimes, she'll actually do something mayoral, but most of the time she just sits around in her office, watching TV and eating snacks.
Characters who arrive in the city do so with nothing but the clothes on their back and missing any items or weapons they may have had with them beforehand. However, can earn their items back, by doing little 'favours' for the Mayor -- that might be anything from baking her a cake, to going into the forest and taking down a rouge Ink Monster. Once the task is completed, the character receives a ticket that they can hand in for one (1) totally free, no strings attached power regain! And if you save up enough of these tickets, you can even bring another part of your home world to Inkadia! Isn't she a fantastic mayor?
